Biography

Sandra J. Bishop is an accomplished, successful, savvy, senior executive with 20 years of diverse business experience in Fortune 200 Corporations and in the nonprofit business sector. Her credentials are enhanced by an MBA, training as a Continuous Quality Improvement Facilitator and expertise as a skilled conflict negotiator. She regularly contributes to WGN television (in Chicago) and writes for MSN.com’s career section. She presents at educational / staff development conferences for professionals / executives in the Financial Services Industry.

In June 2004, Sandra presented two educational conference sessions at The Association of Investment Management Sales Executives (AIMSE), and on August 2nd she will be presenting at the Women’s Executive Leadership Development Conference at Standard & Poor’s.

In 1997, Sandra J. Bishop founded Executive Solutions, a coaching, consulting, and career strategy firm. She coaches business professionals, physicians, and graduating students who choose to maximize their career / workplace potential, work through key performance issues/barriers and seek promotions. She gives cutting edge guidance in job search efforts. Additionally, Sandra guides and educates professionals and physicians who are transitioning into management positions. She functions as an advisor to CEOs, boards of directors, and senior executives.

Sandra works with clients to recognize and develop their unique strengths and expertise in order to formulate their own "Personal Brand". A “Personal Brand” is a dynamic and powerful self-promotion and career advancement tool which helps clients attain greater confidence and extraordinary professional and personal results. When people or circumstances require immediate attention, Sandra uses her distinctive “Just In Time" coaching model. "Just in Time" coaching provides clients with an efficient assessment, defined goals, coaching accountability and an action plan aimed at achieving results.

Sandra's proven track-record of accomplishments includes experience as a hospital administrator, executive outplacement counselor and independent contractor. She is an expert who can guide clients in defining and achieving a vision for their careers.

SANDRA J. BISHOP CAREER HIGHLIGHTS

Sandra began her career in healthcare and was quickly promoted to management positions with increased operating and strategic responsibility in both for profit and non-profit organizations. After receiving her MBA, she was appointed a Director of Patient Care Services in the largest health system in Illinois. Two years later, she was named Hospital Administrator. For 10 years as Hospital Administrator, Sandra had significant P&L responsibility, managed 14 divisions with 425 physicians and developed and launched two product lines. Additionally, she has worked with chief corporate counsels and attorneys in private practice. After achieving corporate success, Sandra combined her energy and business skills in a successful entrepreneurial endeavor by founding Executive Solutions, a coaching and consulting firm.
